Requirements

Site host

The on-site install runs on Windows. Running Setup needs administrator rights. Disk space must cover the Setup file itself, about as much again for the temporary unpack while the wizard is open, the installed product tree, and the MySQL, nginx, and optional local test time-series runtime directories created during setup. Leaving the wizard (cancel or finish) frees the temporary unpack. If the host has no Visual C++ x64 runtime or JDK 17, setup installs them silently. Uninstalling OptimLight does not remove those runtimes.

Optional GPU

Optimizer type BO needs a working NVIDIA driver. Use the version reported by nvidia-smi. It must be 560 or newer. The product archive already includes the CUDA runtime. The site does not need a separate CUDA Toolkit.

If there is no NVIDIA device, or the driver is older than required, setup tells the site to handle it.

Time-series store and Redis

The wizard can install a test time-series store under the product root, or point at a store that is already running. When you point at an existing store, a login check must succeed before product processes use that address. Integration and evaluation still need a reachable store. Redis stays site-provided; product setup does not replace Redis.
